There are still communities that do not have recycling programs and some of those that do are restrictive in what they will accept. For example, some programs will only accept certain kinds of plastic. How do you know which kinds of plastic they will accept? Usually, they will tell you by the number. Decorating the Christmas tree is the highlight of December in our house. We haul out our special boxes which all look like presents to begin with, and when we open them we are flooded with the memories of Christmases past.

Christmas Storage AND Decorations

There seems to be nothing as exciting as when we haul out the Christmas decorations and start to make the house look festive in December. We have a unique storage system for our decorations. We’ve taken ordinary sturdy cardboard boxes with lids and have covered them in bright fabrics. Each box has its own ribbon that fits around the box both ways, with enough length to tie a bow.
